Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Within a cross-functional team, we work on APIs and IoT backend services to enable the integration of HVAC products made by Bosch Thermotechnology into other ecosystems. Therefore we are providing knowledge and a platform for our customers to monitor and control HVAC systems remotely. This position offers the opportunity to actively influence and work on products that are shaping the digitalization of our residential building energy solutions. You will be part of a talented, motivated, multi-cultural and cross-functional team that fosters a culture of continuous improvement through learning and challenging of the status quo.

The main responsibilities of this position are:

• Building a fully-fledged platform for APIs with focus on developer experience;
• Working closely together with software developers, domain experts and designers;
• Reviewing work constructively and anticipating solutions;
• Living the agile values and principles;
• Pushing and realizing the topics that you're interested in.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Comfortable with multiple front-end and back-end languages and have preferably worked with Java/Kotlin and Typescript;
• Experience in building, launching, or using API-based products;
• Experience with frontend frameworks and technologies like React, Javascript, CSS, etc.;
• Familiar with databases like MySQL or MongoDB;
• Experience in delivering services using CI/CD;
• Experience with testing and debugging;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Ability to work in an international team environment;
• Working experience in backend or an academic degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Sciences, or similar is preferred.
